About 80% of NHS budget, including associated and peripheral services are spent on women. So if we want to spread gender equality, we need to start there. As far as employees are concerned, the NHS and Teaching profession in particular, but also the rest of the public sector, have had equality for many years. In fact, harassment procedures and positive discrimination tends to render men as the disadvantaged.

I assume you were referring to men as being the disadvantaged ones.

Health is the matter of the person involved ONLY. It is not the governments job to intervene in any way. Promoting "gender equality" in health is a waste of our tax resources.

I guess I'm confused as to why this must be promoted and where you see gender INequality in health.

Chest pain in females tends to be overlooked by Doctors in the US.
