The NFL referee salary (National Football League) ranges from USD 25,000 to USD 70,000 per season i.e. a season with 16 games with one-week intervals. The NFL official’s average annual income of USD 27, 000 is lowest when compared to the NBA officials earn about USD 128,000 per annum, the NHL officials earn USD139, 000 per annum and the major-league baseball officials earn about USD 141, 000 per annum. On the other hand, NFL officials are not full-time employees and work lesser as against the other sports.

I was surprised to read this....
In 2000, an NFL official with five years in the league made $27,105.
I also found this for 2001:
their per-game paychecks range from $1,431 for first-year officials to $4,330 for veterans of 20 seasons. each Super Bowl official is paid $11,900.

I don't remember what they got the last time the league had to settle wage issues with them, but it was a good amount. They're paid on a sliding scale based on experience. The minimum is about 60,000 a year plus expenses. They get paid for preseason and playoff games as well.

$325.00 for a regular season game & $480.00 for a playoff game...they get $650.00 for the Super-Bowl plus travel expences. None are Full-time..most are ex-college players, High School princlpals etc. They do however have a union

A little more than minimum wage. That is a joke, but they aren't paid very well at all.
