I'm a shower person but my husband loves a soak in the bath. How about you. Why?

Baths are best in winter when you can relax with a glass of wine and a good book.

Showers are better in summer when you're so hot and have come back from the beach or first thing in the morning.

I notice that most folks are opting for the Shower, to some extent I can agree. But these days I would prefer a bath as I am disabled and baths are beyond my capability, so I have had a walk in sit down shower everyday for the last 3yrs. I do miss a good old soak in the bath.

So if you do have use of a bath, respect it, because if you had to have a shower everyday for the rest of your life, it would become the lesser prefered choice.

I live in a very hot climate and shower 3 or 4 times a day. If I have to choose only one, I would choose shower, but occasionally it is nice to relax and have a soak in the bath, good if you have aches or pains. If you have both installed you have the best of both worlds.

I like both. Depends on the mood and situation. Before I go to work in the morning, I take showers, because they are quicker.
When I get home and I am stressed, I like to take baths. I like to take long soaks on cold or rainy days as well.

I agree with you both. On occassion I really like a good soak, but most of the time its the fast and functional shower

NB: Some cultures find the idea of baths repulsive (sitting in your own filth)

No brainer for me,, SHOWER! I don't have the patience to soak in the tub. In the past when I did,, I just sat there thinking of all the things I needed to be doing and had to get out.
