Mahatma Gandhi
Ravi Shankar

I'm Canadian and those are the two that immediately come to mind.

I also remember reading about a movie star named Khan in National Geographic last year, he was compared to Harrison Ford as I recall. There's Bollywood movies on TV here sometimes but I think only people from India living in Toronto watch them.

Indira Gandhi too I suppose would be the third personality that I know from India. And who was that yogi that hung out with the Beatles, he's got to be Indian?
