but i had a size 0 pair of cargo pants that fit perfectly any explination and i don't mind going up a size but i want the pants to be fittind in the but area!

diferent companies make different sizes like i can fit into a siz 3 but i need to go to a 5/7 in a different company of pants

Could be a number of reasons. Seems like the more expensive the clothing is, the sizes seem to run smaller. Also, it could just be a difference in fabric. Cargo pants are typically more loose and relaxed wheras jeans are more fitted and durable fabric. Must be nice to be in a size 0! LOL enjoy it!

More expensive clothes normally run larger. I guess they want the rich to think they are skinnier. My jeans from Abercrombie are size 3 but if I go to Kohls I am like a size 5 sometimes 7 !! Now I just don't shop there because I don't want to be a 7.

Don't look at the number, just buy what fits. Rip out the tags, lie, who cares?? Even if you can get into a small size, it will look awful (and you may not even wear it) if it's too tight. If it fits, it flatters. I have clothes from size 4 to size 11, so go figure.
