Islam sort of translates as "submission (to god)"

"Mu" means "man" hence muslim is a man (or follower) of islam

That's as proper as you can get.
Islam is a religion and the god in that religion is named Allah. The Muslims believe in Islam and they're what I like to call the Islamo-Fascists, because they want everybody else in the world to believe in their religion and will not tolerate non-believers. It even says in their Koran (that's their bible) that anyone who is not Muslim should be killed. And that's why they're attacking Israel and America!
