at now that there is no white house connection, the media has just dropped the story. Why is this not all over the news? Oh yeah that's right because it's not a story that damages Bush so much anymore.
Any thoughts?

plus_fute - Your response is exactly my point. The media never wants to show, hey the president is not as bad as all the libs say, but when they get a chance to align with the Bush hating they jump all over it.

Schmorgen - Clinton was convicted of PURJURY, which he committed when he lied on the stand in a sexual harrassment case. Nobody really cares if he diddles an intern. Why is it ok for Clinton lie to America, but Bush, even if not proven, is Satan and lies?

Double Standard crap and you know it.

So let me get this straight... just so I know how the game works, what's fair and what isn't and what's newsworthy and what isn't:

ahem:

It's okay and perfectly just to chase around a baseless story about a land deal with a special prosecutor for years, finally resulting in the impeachment of a sitting president for the high crime of ejaculation which, to an outsider like myself, seems pretty unrelated to the land deal that the prosecutor was appointed to investigate. That's cool.

It's bad to track down someone who outed an undercover CIA agent and compromised her work and everyone ever seen with her who is still in the field. That's partasan attack.

It should damage Bush that someone in his cabinet is revealing state secrets. It should embarass the hell out of him, if he has any sense of shame. But we have seen this week, as he walks through the shell of New Orleans that he vowed to return to its previous glory that he has no shame.

It's The Scandal That Never Was. I bet the liberals are regrouping to decide how to prove that Karl Rove planted the Newsweek story.

Yes, I heard about this on Fox News yesterday. I seriously doubt that if I watched another channel that I would have even heard about it.
