gosh.. which one of those is the lesser of evil..
any child should never be touched by the hands of somebody that is trusted in the community.. heck even if they aren't trusted.. so any form of molestation is the worst..

What bothers me is that today's society can only learn from mistakes that could have been prevented, after something devastating has happened and when its too late to do anything. And even when such an event has occured, sometimes, we still don't learn. For example, let's talk about Katrina and the mass destruction that occured in Louisiana and Mississippi. Scientists had been talking for years about the devastating effects a hurricane would cause if one would hit the critical areas along the Gulf Coast. Nothing was done, despite the warnings that were given. You, of course, know what happened when Katrina blew by. Much of the desolation and wreckage could have been prevented or reduced if action had been taken, but unfortunately, this was not so. Why? I'm not so sure.. perhaps the people in charge did not want to spend the money to improve the levies at the time? Beats me.
The same goes for other issues, such as 9/11 and Global Warming, just to name a few. There were so many signs that a large-scale attack was going to occur, and yet, no action. Despite the flashing-red warnings, nothing was done. Global Warming is still being speculated but supported by many scientists, and even though some small actions have been taken to reduce greenhouse gas emissions globally, so far, I haven't heard of any drastic measures being taken. And what will happen when it is too late to do anything about Global Warming?
Plus, there's all this talk about the end of the world, the apocalypse sort of thing. Pandemics, asteroids, nuclear war, and so on. If scientists and experts are talking about this, why aren't we taking action? Are we so deluded that we don't even want to take action against the extinction of the human race?
And why are we doing this? Why are we ignoring all these warnings and alerts? Are we too immersed in our own lives to care? Maybe the society of today focuses only on immediate effects rather than long-term goals, and because of this, the problems stated above and more have occured. The lack of urgency in society just baffles me. I'm certainly not an expert, but this is just how I see things. They are subject to change as I listen to more experts on the topic.
Oh yeah, and another thing that bothers me: ignorance. I'll leave it at that.
Hope this helps! Fair winds.

What bothers me the most is the victimization of children. And, I know you understand that it's not just priests and ministers who engage in this. That's what makes it even more heartbreaking - the victimization of children is committed by people who, so much of the time, you'd never think in a million years would do that.
I'm a little little irked by your inclusion of gay people in your 'list' though. That's a pretty tough group to include gays in. I'm straight, and while I don't completely understand the gay choice, I feel it's not up to me to condemn it.

Are those all the options? What bothers me the most is the complete ignorance floating around the world. Ignorance towards race, religion, sexual orientation, preferences - everything!! All the problems of the world basically could be solved if everyone would take their heads out of the sand, look around and start paying attention to the needs of the world.

I can cope with rap music, no problem! I couldn't care less about people's sexual preferences, what they do in the privacy of their own home is none of my business so gay men/women are not an issue to me, but as for the rest ... I'd say war and child abuse.

The ignorance towards other cultures shown by our current administration (Bush)... he has no idea how they think over there in the sand, and he actually believes he can dive in with this little democracy thing and change thousands of years of fighting into peace and equality in one pitiful 8 year presidential office...
that bugs the crap outa me...
Oh yeah, America's federal and national debt too...
that your and my grandchildren have to pay off.
FUN!!!

Actually none of those bother me the most, yeah I don't like it, but what bothers me is that people are so stupid to say that Christianity isn't real. It is. And if you think I'm being ignorant, just you wait, I'll be in heaven and you'll be in hell, then you'll wish you beleived in Jesus as your Savior
