And is that security even possible? Cheney has said that continued war in Iraq is vital for American security, so how many Iraqis must die then for Americans?

It is amazing to see people actually answer "every single one of them until democracy can be secured" ... sounds like a Darfor tactic.
I understand that the U.S. soldiers are no longer causing most civilian deaths. That is not what I said.

By last count more than10 times as many Iraqis have died in this war than on Sept 11. ..... Oh I forgot, Bush just said that Iraq had nothing to do with Sept 11

I thought English is the first language at the states!
Back to the subject. Dear Shazam, beleive me you are wasting your time trying to prove america's double standards to americans. For a discussion, you and the other part should share a common background, however, it's clear to me that there is no common background here.
You are comparing blood to blood, human to human, however, they are comparing the superior people of America to the inferior rest of the world. They don't see you point and they'll never see.
Regards.

This is not the first time Americans were taught this lesson. Vietnam was not too long back but then egoistic ambitions dont learn lessons. It would be interesting to know the excuse that the Americans wud give to get out of Iraq becuase they cant win with terrorists. This is happening in India for decades but Americans never supported India but now the reality is at thier own door and knowcking loudly- lets see how they respond

I don't even understand what the fighting is about. They have a government there that the people actually voted into power. The next elections they have will be better, since hopefully by that time they will be self-sustained. There are many more Iraqis killed by muslims than by American troops.

Israel is way less safeguard now that the U.S. has destabilized Iraq, in basic terms as i'm sensible the mess even as the U.S. pulls out ought to situation Turkey and Iran. this can nicely be one difficulty the position Iran and Israel can agree. and clearly there is not something good about human beings lack of life. Iraq being a "declared enemy of Israel" does not advise Iraq changed into in a position to threaten Israel's safe practices. 1/2 the posters listed here are "declared enemies of Israel", and that i don't think of Iraq posed a lot more beneficial chance than they do. It changed into more beneficial frequently than not in basic terms communicate, and that i'd not anticipate the authorities of Iraq, as quickly because that's freed from U.S. occupation, to be any more beneficial pleasant to Israel than lower than Saddam. it would not marvel me if it wound up a lot less so.

You do realize that most of the Iraqi deaths are from Sunni insurgents and infiltrating terrorists, right? And that there would be even more if we just up and left, like the cowardly 'lions' of the Dem party want us to do.

Why are you just asking Mr. Chaney? Ask Bush too!
I personally don't think there will ever be peace, or security for the USA, Jealousy for the other countries to have our land and freedom. I am so proud to be an AMERICAN and to have the freedom to do just about anything.

A dear friend of mine wrote a poem about this war (which I feel is a second Vietnam)...noting that for every gallon of oil, we have people (both Iraqis and soldiers) dying...and their blood equals the oil.

As long as there are suicide bombers blowing up innocent Iraqui people. That's how long. It's not Americans strapping bombs to our chests and blowing up 80 people at once, that is what the suicide fanatics do.
Get your facts straight.

Enough Iraqis so that the ones that are left stop resisting the regime change.
If they'd stop fighting, they'd stop dying.
