i have been taking my body temp all month in toni boo she said that you have to hav aleast ten high temps before you have your period but i have slight blood and i only ovulated 7 days ago anyone know if this is normal????? or what it means PLSE HELP

I have not read the book, but I use the software to chart my cycle.
It could mean several things, and if it continues to happen you should talk to your doctor.
One possibility is implantation spotting. The embryo burrows into the lining of your uterus and sometimes a small amount of blood is dislodged.
Another possibility is that you have low progesterone (the hormone that keeps the lining inside your body after ovulation to give the embryo time to implant)
It's also possible that you just had some random spotting, and it doesn't mean anything.

1. Did your temp stay high this morning, or did it drop?
2. Does "slight blood" mean just a little spotting, or full period?
If your temp is still high, and you have a little spotting, I'd say the signs indicate implantation--I believe Toni Weschler says 7 days after ovulation is the typical amount of time for the egg to implant. So keep taking your temp, take good care of yourself, take prenatal vitamins, quit any alcohol and caffeine, and take a pregnancy test a week from today if you haven't gotten your period yet! I've read the book and still use it for reference. Do you have a link to your chart online, that would be helpful. Also, has your temp dropped? Is it only spotting or full-blown bleeding?

I did read her book and charted, etc. in order to concieve my son. I can't remember what everything means- possibly implantation spotting? I would recommend you go to www.fertilityfriend.com and post this question on their bulletin boards. Posting your chart there is a great option if you can, too.
