Many factors control the size of ones cranium as well as ones intelligence. A larger head implies more brain activity, and higher calorie and oxygen usage, but intelligence has more to do with efficiency then usage. A CD cares more information than a record in spite of the records larger size.
This myth works on the assumption that all brains function at the same maximum efficacy level, however brains vary a great deal in efficiency so the myth is false.
