Safety first. Be sure to always lock your doors and windows. You can never be to sure these days. Please dont forget your keys in the door at any time okay i do that sometimes and realise shortly after. You should always leave a light on. And its good to have music or a television on so it does not seem like your alone or the house is empty.
Entertain yourself:
Well that depends on what you like to do. You can try reading, craft projects, HG Tv, Faverite movies or movie marathons on tv. Maybe you can go out witht a friend, hang out with the girls. Shopping for things for yourself or the house. Try new recipies. Waw there are alot of things you can do. Sew your christmas curtins if you sew! Hope i gave you some ideas. Once you get started you would realise a week was not enough alone time. Enjoy sweety.

Make sure your doors are locked. Think of it this way if someone was going to come into your home and your husband was there what difference would that make they could harm your husband as well. Most likely nothing is going to happen. I lived on my own for 3 years by myself and nothing happened. I lived in a horrible neighborhood and it was just me and my 2 year old son. I learned to not be so scared. You have to learn how to pretect yourself without your husband being there.

There is no reason to be scared, take it as an opportunity to do things you realy enjoy. Watch some chick flicks, if you have children hang out an have a campout night in the living room provided they are still young. Re-arrange the house, make scrap books, re-organize closets. It sounds like you are newly married, in time you will appreciate his trips away as time to yourself!

1. if you have any girlfriends, invite them over for a slumber party.
2. if your car has a panic button on your keyring, keep the keyring close at hand. if you hear anything suspicious at night, hit the panic button and it will freak out anybody in your yard. (test it our for range first, in the daytime)
3. rent some of your favorite movies and watch them. pamper yourself, take long bubblebaths, read.
4. if you can't sleep, come in here in the middle of the night and help other people out.
*hugs* and good luck! you'll be fine - maybe after a while you'll look forward to this "alone and pamper yourself" time

Put a pair of his shoes outside your door or find some huge ones(side 14-16) then put a sign on your door that says : be careful when you come in,the dog hasn't ate yet! Then leave a large bone by the shoes. No one in there right mind would want to come into your house then.

how in the world could you be bored with us to talk to? as for the scared part, i'm not sure. if someone told you to buy a gun, the most likely people to get shot would be you or your husband. baseball bat by the bed, maybe? Marshal arts classes? lock doors and windows!

Well when my hubby has to be gone like that I have to make myself stay busy!!! I usually find a project to work on, do some reading or studying, a craft or something. Its important to do something physical also so your tired at night so you can sleep!

Invite me over? I will protect you.

Just lock all doors and windows and curl up with a good book or movie. Maybe invite a friend over and do all the girlie type things you may not have done in while.
