Yes I think all governments in this world should give a law or regulation that suggesting a couple for only have 2 or maximum 3 kids. Each government should promote a family planning in order to maintain a low growth of population because :
1)the natural resources are very limited
2)the living costs are increasing everywhere
3)each year the grown up and educated youths are increasing
4)the facilities for schools and its budget are limited
5)the investment growth is not so satisfied
6)the increase in basic food productions are very limited
7)the cost of education is expensive
8)the unemployment people are increasing
9)the poor people are increasing
10)the health facilities are limited

No I don't agree that government should involve themselves in my personal decisions. How is that different from telling blacks they can't go to a certain school because it's a white school? Would you be open then to the government telling you where you can live, what kind of house you can buy, where you can shop and how often? Or perhaps what kind of children you can have like all boys and no girls? Governments already do this just ask anyone getting government assistance for health care, food stamps etc. They are told what doctors they can go see, how much money they can spend on gorceries and in some countries like China they've told parents they can only have a certain number of children and what gender. Letting the government control your personal decisions is no different than walking up to someone on the street that you don't know and asking them to make your decisions for you. You may be thinking that it's just how many kids you can have, but it doesn't stop there. They will continue to chip away at your rights and freedoms. You may feel that you and your bf only want 3 kids, but what about the family out there that wants 6 or 9 and have the means and ability to care for all of them? Or what if we started to decline in population and the government told you that you had to have minimum 6 children? Don't wish the government to take away yours and my freedom. Be happy that you have the right to have as few or as many children as you would like.

No, but I think that there may be situations where a court may find a justified need to intervene to prevent more births of a certain individual. I also think mandated classes or work rehabilitation could be used to educate the person that has children without means to support or care for them self sufficiently. In regards to the world population...wow, I don't know. I think in fact some places in Asia do have some laws regarding how many children a couple should have. (This was a good question by the way.) Thought provoking....

no i dont think that should be done.

but i do think that they should lossen up the rules on woman having there ovaries tiied. i know of many young women that have kids, that wanted to havet their tubes tied off so they could not have any more. For example my cousin, has 3 children. she had them before she reached 21. being that she was under 21 the state of mississippi would not allow her to have her tubes tied. she was 2 months from being 21. Since then she has had another child. this is not the first story i have heard like this.

OR you the government could step back and get over their religious crap and let gay men adopt. That would help with the hungry children. As for population control, isnt that what homosexuals are anyway! We can't readily reproduce! At least we should be allowed to save a starving child!

I think that the Government telling people what to do with their bodies will be a huge and ridiculous drama.
People with any sense should follow the 123 no more rule just because we do not want to be part of the problem. There should be funding to promote this idea.

Like condoms..it may catch on...

This is a very debatable question/thought. In one way I do agree with what your saying. BUT this is like ONLY when WE the taxpayer MUST SUPPORT the kids from the people in question. Like they are on welfare, collecting. That type person yes. BUT if the person IS able to support the kid/s then NO it isn't ANYONE'S business how many kids a person has. Who the hell is the government or you for that matter to tell me how many kids I can have.? For real if I can support my kid/s then it isn't any of your business. End of debate.

No, people should be able to live their lives and have kids without government intervention.

The destruction of borders would be a better option than a totalitarian government telling individuals what their family size should be.

And, if a family did have more than their allotment of kids, would the government force an abortion? That's barbaric.

I think they should but I don't see it happening. There is a family in Utah (of course) who has 16 kids!! Just because your body CAN get pregnant doesn't mean that it SHOULD. There are many Christians here in America that disagree. Seems the Christians have more of a hold on things than common sense dictates.
