I'm still a kid, I'm still dreaming. Ever since I can remember I've always wanted to be a write. Now, with my last year in high school starting next week, I still want to be a novelist but reality has struck-- I don't want to be a starving artist, I'd need a steady job, maybe write on the side. But I'm not good at anything else, really. So, looking into the future as of now, I'd say no. No, I won't land my dream job.

I wanted to be a doctor. I didn't become one. I got pregnant in college and got married and ended up being a nurse. I now have two kids and my husband left me and I'm faced with having to go back to work (and only make a nurses salary) Do I have regrets? Hell yes!

When I was a kid, I always wanted to be a chef...or...sit around in my underwear all day and somehow miraculously get paid for that.

I have achieved both things...I'm fairly content with how my professional life turned out. :-)
