He only had 1 bad year. People seam to forget that the year before he had one of the best years ever for any QB. If it wasn't for Peyton Manning breaking the TD record everyone would have been watching Cullpepper. Yes he had Randy Moss and Miami doesn't have a WR of that level but he has an overall better team to work with. A way better running situation then he had in Minn. and a Defense that will help control game tempo. You should be good with him this year. Top 10 QB easy...

Barring any injuries, Culpepper will return to the elite status that made him the top QB in the league, albeit that he might have lost some mobilty to run with the injuries. Last season was just a lost one because the WR crop didn't pan out and the running game suffer along with it. A new environment and better players around him (Ronnie Brown, Chris Chambers, Randy McMichael) should spell comeback for the former Pro-Bowl QB. Chambers just finish his first 1,000 yard season with an average QB so Culpepper should increase Chambers value, as well as Brown and McMichael. Although he won't get the MVP numbers in the past, he still be a respectable QB that could help you down the stretch.

Yes he will. 100 %. It's only a matter of his knee healing. He won't be as mobile as he was in Minnesota, but he won't have to be. (He'll still get yd's on the ground with 2-3 TD's on a short yardage scramble) Ronnie Brown is better than ontario smith and michael bennett who Daunte had on the Vikings. Also, believe it or not, I think Chambers will ignite Culpeppers past memories of Moss by hauling in 100 yards games easily. The kid had a great year with AJ Feely and a couple other QB's. Imagine the results this year.

On top of having the in-game relationship with Chambers, many people forget Marty Booker, an exprobowler from the bears. Last year he was 4th in the NFL in yards per catch. Watch his numbers climb as Culpepper will get him the ball downfield too.

And of course, we cannot forget the pass catching TE in Randy McMichael. He'll get his share of touches, but Culpepper doesn't throw to his tightends as much as his receivers.

Overall, he should be a top 10 QB this year. That is barring any setbacks with injury's on the team....

Good luck!

I think you should steer clear. He's injury prone, and Miami's line is not that good. You want a good QB who's on the comeback trail, consider Carson Palmer after last night. Your fantasy studs are still Peyton Manning and maybe Tom Brady and/or Matt Hasselbeck.

Culpepper is at best a backup/late rounder. I really don't think he does much this year, and he's sure to get hurt soon.

Think about McNabb as well - he's having a quiet, but good pre-season - and the T.O. issue is overwith in Philly.

good luck!

I think he will do great! Top 10 qb for sure and possible top 5. He has a lot of weapons to work with down in Miami. Maybe a career year for him.

Yes, Daunte will have an awesome year. With Chambers, he will get a lot of TD's. He will also have run support with Ronnie Brown. He will be top 5 this year.

I like him. He has good protection and a great running back, not to mention a good receiver in Chambers. I rated him in my top 10 qb's.
