I'm looking for a region 2 PAL DVD of BLADE RUNNER - not the directors cut, the original theatrical version. Anybody know where to get a copy from?

P.S. ebay is not a good source as all the ones I've ever seen for sale are pirate versions. any others?

dont worry very soon there is the release of 'Blade runner - the final cut' which will include the Original U.S. Theatrical Cut (never before available in the UK); the Expanded International Theatrical Cut; and the 1992 Director's Cut.

blade runner was only released as the directors cut on dvd. it was one of the first titles the studio released in the dvd format. Good news is though that ridley scott is putting together a special edition dvd that is coming out either later this year or early next year. Ridley scott puts together the biggest and most packed out dvds of any director

There is a special edition out this month which includes both the directors cut and the original theatrical version.
Unfortunately, it appears to be in very limited supply - Amazon have none in stock.

You have a good choice of film but the only one's I know of are pirate copies, even of the directors cut. Still a good film whichever version you watch.

I don't even know what that is??????? don't collect video's, rent them once in a while, the last good one I saw was Open Range, with Kevin Costner, we like those western type of movies, We never watch anything that's to far fetched!!!!!! were too old for to much science fiction, or to much drama!!!

I'm not sure it has ever been released. I have a VHS tape of the original, but have not been able to find a DVD of it.
