Don't make it obvious that you like him. Conversate a lil but don't bring your crush up. It'll totally scare him off. If he gets to see the real best friend, he'll eventually become interested. If he doesn't, respect his wishes that he doesn't want to be anything BUT friends.
All you can do you approach him, be nice, smile, and talk to him about hobbies.. interests.. what the weather is like. he will be the one who decides to tell you if he likes anyone. don't beat it out of him kay?

She should at first talk to him and ask him to hang out at an event or go to a dance or something. If he agrees to spend sometime with her then its off to a good start and she'll know if he likes her too... Being a good friend with a guy first is always the best way to start before getting into a relationship. Best of Luck.

She could
a. Walk up to him, say hello and introduce herself.
b. Get introduced through a common friend.
c. Pretend she's doing a research on some subject and that he's been chosen as one of her respondents, and that she would need to meet over coffee to discuss the questions.
d. Get her friends to sit next to him, or walk by him, talking about what a rocking girl she is.

Just talk to him. the guy doesnt know she likes him so hes not gonna think anyway about it. But once you start talking to him .. dont talk to him ALLL the time. Leave him hanging.. make him wonder. He'll like her more that way

find out what he likes doing. find a way to strike up a converstion with a topic he likes to talk about. what does she have to lose?
