no your fine sometimes if you've been really stressed for weeks at a time you can skip your period
if you don't get it in 3 months go see your doctor you might have poly cystic ovarian syndrome

It's probably nothing to worry about, especially if you have not had vaginal intercourse. If a girl has had unprotected sex, a missed period can be a sign of pregnancy, but there are other reasons why a girl might miss her period — including stress, illness, a diet that's too low in fat, changes in sleep patterns or exercise, or just a period that hasn't become regular yet.

It can take a while for a young woman's body to adjust to hormone changes and begin to "run" smoothly and regularly. She might have a light flow or a heavy flow, the length of the flow may vary, or her periods might be late. She might even skip some months. Usually, a young woman's periods and cycles become more regular as she grows older.

Women who miss three or more periods should see a clinician who can determine why she's missing her periods, and prescribe treatment, if necessary.

I don't think there is something wrong. I have skipped my period many times and nothing is wrong with me. Its just your body getting used to the way your period works. It will be fine.
If you skip it next month, I would see a doctor. But once is fine [unless you are sexually active which you said your not]

If you aren't sexually active, there's nothing to worry about. It usually takes a few years for your periods to get right anyway. It may just be delayed.. that will happen alot in the beginning of your cycles.

It depends if you just started your period not too long ago..

It won't be something regular...

More than likely there is nothing wrong..but sometimes you should talk to you more and say

"Mom can we go to the doctor my period didn't come this month...

and before you jump to conclusions ...Im not sexually active..."

I think thats fairly normal. Alot of girls have irregular periods the first few years. if you don't get one next month, then I'd consider going to the doctor. How is your diet? sometimes malnutrition can play a part in this too.

If you have had no sexual activity, then I do believe that you are fine. You may just have an irregular cycle. If you are really concerned, however, I would suggest going to see your GYN.

Well if you've never had sex your not pregnant but I'd keep an eye to your next periods to see if they are irregular and then you may need to go to the doctor, but just one is okay.
