We get them *inside* the Court all the time through cracks in the brickwork! UGH-O!!

The link below has some suggestions like:

"Spray the Box Elder bugs. Some people say they have good luck with a half-and-half mix of laundry soap and water, spraying the clusters of bugs when needed. Personally, I use Raid and it works just fine."

Hope this helps! Other suggestions there as well. Good luck!

If you want to keep the plant, you might try using Sevin Dust. I use it around my porch and places where little critters like to hang out. Just make sure you use a mask if you are using it on a windy day. After applying it, thoroughly wash your hands. It gets rid of ants, spiders, those pesky little insects we don't like to hang around our yard. I know of some people who has actually used sevin dust on their carpet to eliminate fleas. I am not advising that, but I know it works. Otherwise, just get a good bottle sprayer and read the labels on various garden sprays and you will find one. Best of luck to you.

I sprayed my doorway down with a bunch of flying bug spray stuff, that seemed to do the trick, or at least there are a lot of dead ones there now instead of living ones.

They are attracted to silver maple and box-elder trees. The trees can be nearby or in your yard. You can call professional or sadly cut down trees if they are on your property.
