You should try using plum shades of eyeshadow. That is the best color to use if you have green eyes. You can try some sandy brown shades or colors that have gold tones too. As for cheeks, you should stay away from shades of bright pink. Try using peaches or more "natural" colors. Lipsticks & glosses should follow the same rule, no bright pink. Think more natural colors. There is a brand of cosmetics (I think it's Almay but I'm not positive) who has come out with a new line of make-up for each eye color & skin tone. Also, if you go to the Mary Kay website, there is a "virtual makeover" (it's under the "what's new" tab) and you can select the model who has the same skin tone as you and apply eye color, blush, & lip colors to see how they work with your skin. I use their cosmetics and have been very happy with them. (plus my mom sells them so I get a discount) A lot of my friends use Mary Kay also and they have been equally satisified. If you are interested, you can search on their website for someone in your area that sells it and they can meet with you and discuss what colors would be best for you. Good luck!

Hello, first of all if you want to tone down your rosy cheeks use a green make-up foundation creme which you can get in Boots. Then an Ivory colour foundation, couple that with some tawny blusher. Most girls would envy your green eyes. I would use use a copper eyeshadow blending out at the corners. The lipstick colour could be a chocolate shimmer. Use a Dk green eye pencil on the inner lid to highlight your eyes. Finish the look with black mascara curled with eyelash curling tong

Purple is a contrast color for green and will make your green eyes shoot out. I would suggest a plum colored eyeshadow all over the lid with a dark brown in the crease of your eyelid, just in the outside corners. Then a dark maroon lipstick. Hope this helps.

I went to the Estee Lauder counter in Debenhams and she advised totally different to what I would have chosen. I used to always wear brown eyeshadow and she suggested green because I have blue/green eyes (dark brown curly hair too-spooky), I thought she had gone mad but it looked fantastic. The makeover was free and I bought most of the products that she had used. I ended up going back there to have my wedding make-up done, I was that pleased. Would definitely recommend but go with an open mind and take their advise, they know what they're doing.
Have also tried Body Shop but was too "made up", very heavy and false looking.

I had my colours done at a party once, this really helped me with make-up ides, basically if warm colours (reds/browns/oranges etc) suit you then use these for make-up, if it is cool colours (blues, greens, white etc thern go for these.. Having a make up party with a professional co-ordinator is great as they will show you how to put it on to suit your face shape too.... I would say you sound like a warm colour anyway with your hair & complexion.. Also dont go for strong eyes & lips, do one or the other, striking eye make-up should be matched with a neutral lipstick & vice versa..

Try a light green on your lids, and then highlight it with either brown, or a gold shimmer. Outline the bottom lids in an dark green, or black. Make sure to bring out the rosy cheeks with a pale rose color, and add either a red to the lips, or a mute gold.

I would suggest soft pinks for the cheeks and lips. For the eyes try light greens or even a mix of soft blues with taupy browns.

Try some different shades of bronze & green for your eyes, avoid pale pastels as they will take away form your eye colour.. Try some different shades of peach for your lips,it will provide a nice contrast with your eyes & cheeks..

Deep pink lips. i pick to propose Maybelline color Bursts' "pink Revival" lipstick. As for the eyes, i might choose for a medium toned smokey eye, with a silver shimmer as your lighter color and a mix of pink and gray as your crease/countouring color. in elementary terms a splash of pink nevertheless, sufficient to tie the look together easily. Plus pink is a large contrasting color to eco-friendly eyes.

I read that if you have fair skin, its has blue undertones so you should you icy colours like light blue and silvery colours. I have light skin too and I tried it and I really like how it looks. I used light blue eyeshadow, light pink blush and lipstick , but not too light cause then it will look like you are eating a powder doughnut.
