I would first suggest taking the MSF - Motorcycle Safety Federation's riding course. Once you pass that, license testing is waived, and all you have to do is go in and get the endorsement with proof that you passed the MSF.

Otherwise, I studied for a day or two, went in and took the written part, took the rider part the same day - it took about an hour all told, and voila!

Really, everything is fairly common-sense. Go get the Motorcycle Endorsement Test manual from your DMV, and study a little, then take the tests. That's the cheapest way to do it.

MSF costs approx. $180.00 - but that's the safest way to do it.

There are motorcycle training courses offered, that will train you,AND give you your endorsement.A friend of mine got her training through Harley Davidson in Pompano. It is @ $300 and they provide you with the bikes too. They also gave her the endorsement for "Motorcycle Also".Try to avoid the DMV.They are only offered certain days and at certain locations. You have to wait in there god awful, loud cramped waiting areas, with a bunch of foreigners and 16 year old's
