Let's be realistic. Rice will never be president because she is a black woman. Just look at Hurricane Katrina and how America treated their black citizens. When Hurricane Rita hit Texas, all the white ppl were evacuated in a blink of the eye

Out of the 2 - Hillary has the best chance.. Not only will she have the democratic vote, she (if Rice doesn't run) will have many Republican Women voters coming out to vote for her. I also think it would have a major effect on male voter turn out.
Think about it - every woman who heard as a child "Honey, you can be whatever you want when you grow up, maybe even President."
I couldn't even begin to imagine a woman not voting for Hillary as it will be a major gender breaker in politics.
But even if Rice ran & won, Liberals everywhere would be laughing hysterically knowing that not only did a female win, but a black one at that... knowing that every dead staunch Republican would be rolling around in their grave...
At this point - what do we have to lose? it's not like she can make the national debt any worst, she could send just as many soldiers to a lost cause, she could say mission accomplished whenever to make you feel better and throw in a terror alert every 5 weeks to make you feel like we're still a target..
At least Bill & Hillary can walk into other countries without being protested or heckled, unlike anyone from our current administration as they have managed to lose respect from our allies

Democracy wins. So lets see and watch. Rice is republic, educated from Stanford, best in the world, Single.
Clinton, on the other hand, democratic, wife of a former president, with Monica to deal with as a set back........still strong enough to be with her husband, and grit her teeth....... So it proves she is a forgiving person.
If Rice wants to contest, than she has to disagree on some of the policies bush believes in. U can respect a person, but one doesnt have to agree on every word that he or she says.. everyone can make mistakes......we are not divine, we are all human beings....even lord krishna stole butter....even though he still worshipped by many hindus.

I would vote for a woman president if competent. True this country is ran by mostly white males but it's really money that runs the country and politics. As for racism, everyone is racist and it exists in all walks of life and always will. It's natural for anyone to feel more comfortable around people who look like themselves. I would vote for any American competent of the position they are running for regardless of race or gender.

We had Margaret Thatcher as Prime Minister in the UK. People demonstrated in the streets, miners fought a bitter battle against the fascist government she led. No, don't have a female president - you'll all be trying emigrate over here. We've already took Madonna in - what else do you want? Actually, Rice, probably wouldn't be bad as president - but don't risk it!

I thought that in America "anybody" can become president: and he usually does.
Seriously though it may come to pass that you have a woman president. No-one thought we'd have one in the UK until Maggie Thatcher came along. None could forsee a non-Italian Pope until JPII popped up.
Things have a habit of surprising us.
(and Condi may be a Republican war-monger but she's also a babe)

I'm just still in shock someone actually thinks Rice would make a good president. Probably the same kind of idiot that'd vote for Bush twice over.
