Battle ... let's see must be the Battle of Hampton Roads where the first Ironclad ships fought to a draw. Totally changed Naval Warfare.

Never can sort out who was North and who was South, without looking it up.

Gettysburg is most special to me because I'm from Pennsylvania and have visited the battlefield.
