Can only hear the noise when making a shallow right turn, no noise on left turn, or when applying brakes or when making any right turn with brakes applied.

it's probably the brake wear indicator. if it were the bearings or the cv axle, it would make noise all the time or you would hear a popping sound. i would start with the brakes. check those out, that has always been my experience.

Possible causes, in order of likelihood:
a) worn brake pads (indicator makes noise when worn)
b) rust or foreign material on brake rotor
c) glazed brake pads from hard braking
d) possible bad wheel bearing on that side
e) possible bad CV joint
f) (least likely) damaged or bad ball joint/tie rod on that side

I'd have it checked out by a mechanic, or if you are a do-it-yourselfer, jack up the front end, pull the wheel, and inspect the above items.

Hope this helped.

It sounds like a scraping brake-pad which could be caused
by a warped rotor.you would have to pull the wheel off to
check these things out.If you have'nt worked on cars be-
fore, have someone who knows what they're doing check
it out for you. "good luck"

Sounds like a wheel bearing or constant-velocity joint issue. That's where I'd start looking.
