If they truely felt all the changes and pains (including child birth)our bodies go through I think they would change their minds.

Interesting question. I suppose some men probably are interested in just the superficial trappings of femininity. Others, though, feel as if they are women trapped in a man's body, so pregnancy, menstrual cycles, menopause and the like would actually be something that they felt like they were missing.

Me? I'm in between, I guess. I am in awe of a woman's ability to grow a life inside of her and I guess a little jealous that I will never experience that level of intimacy. On the other hand, though, I do enjoy the flexibility of being able to switch back and forth and play the role I want when I want to. I know I will never be a complete woman and I am OK with that. I also realize that being a woman, even if only for a day or two, is about more than just the clothes and the makeup and I try to respect that as well.

As this is not really a factor in looking like a woman - I really do not think it would affect their decision at all. A sex change will not cause them to start having periods or give them the ability to become pregnant. A sex change only gives them the appearance and physical attributes of the gender that they more strongly identify as.

no. a trangender is not a man just wanting to be a woman - it's a woman trapped in a male body.

Well, considering that a transgendered person does not have to deal with any of those things, I would imagine they wouldn't care.
