I believe so. I think you could give your life for your family, if it meant them dying or you dying and you had the choice to make.
I don't think anyone wants to give their life for their country, it's just a known risk when a person signs up to defend their country.
And, I don't think you can give your life for some fake god. I think you are being delusional and believe anything you are told.

Although everyone will probably answer with a tangible thing/ person that they would give their life for...(family, God, people in need), the ultimate truth is that most people are already giving their lives for something... money, fame, sex, crime.
Think about it... If I love my kids so much that I work all the time to give them the things that they want, I've given my life to work ($).
Or if I really can't distinguish love from lust and I sleep around thinking that every time I do so, that it is love (very risky), I've given my life to sex.
So, honestly, how many people really have a life to give.

God, my family, my friends...Easier said than done, right? But I think that most people would even give their life for a complete stranger. For example, who wouldn't push someone out of the way if a bus was about to hit them? People are generally good.

instinctively i should be able to give my life for my family.as far my country is concerned "nope".Most of the battles, conflicts ,war happenning nowadays are not worth dying for.
as it's often said "It is much more difficult to live nowadays than to die " so nothing too special about dying but everything brave about living.
Ofcourse if i say this to an army man he may very well shoot me at sight.So it's just my own little brains' perception.

Only for my children.....even a life partner would not outway the love a mother has for her offspring. I'd prefer to stay alive for the kids but if it was the only way they could survive...I'm older, so its only fair to give it up for them.
The country...no way, family, hell no....I love em but me and mine come first.
