I moved into a new place recently and strange things have happeded. 2 times I have left my dishes to dry on the counter and in the morning I wake up and they are on the floor over by the kitchen window. I thought it migh be the cats knocking them over--it's possible. But last night my husband and I were watching tv and a cigarette pack flew off the table. Definately not the cats. Oh yeah I live directly next to a cemetery. Would you be afraid?

I don't know... does it FEEL bad / dark / evil? I've had what I thought was a ghost and it didn't do anything other than turn on lights. I literally said out loud "Hey there! Make ya a deal - you seem cool, I'm cool. We can live together, right?" and never had any problems. So that time I wasn't afraid. It was a bit creepy on occasion, but not scary.

Heck yes, I'd be afraid. I'm the type to believe in something only if I have proof, and that would be proof to me. But that doesn't mean you should be scared- perhaps once you get over the initial shock you can either get used to it or consult a priest or medium on ways to release the spirit. Good luck!

I'd be p-o'd the ghost was leaving my place in such a mess...lol...kidding aside:
Yeah - if it was just an apartment or a place that your renting?....and you're afraid (cause it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks - you have to live there - and everyone deserves to be comfortable and at peace in their home)...then it's a no-brainer...move.

I have read in various books by psychics that you should tell the energy to go to the light. I'm not making this up. Also, visualize a white energy around yourself as well as around those you love. Sylvia Browne mentions this a lot in her books. Tell the energy to go to God and to the light.

Are you sure your house isn't built on some of the cemetery? And not just next to it?

I'd leave everything where it is, and just walk away....never return.

Well, um, gee, I don't know. Depends on if you believe in ghosts or not. Maybe it's something like that show Poltergeist. They built houses on top of caskets. Maybe that is what happened in your case. If so, run and run quickly.

That is sooooooo cool!! I wouldn't be afraid. Probably harmless.
But if you experience physical harm or signs that the spirit is trying to cause you harm, get a paranormal expert to check it out!
Otherwise, name your ghost and have fun with it!
