well not really like 100% goth but more like alternative and with the accessories. i've always liked the look of the baggy pants, chains on the pants, and the bracelets with the spikes. i'm black with indian and mexican descent. what do you think? i just like the look

I was when I turned 17. Not completely Goth. But like you I liked some of the clothes, wore black all the time. I wasn't into the scary make-up and piercing everywhere, but I did piercing my ears 5 times each had the smokey eye thing going on. It was hot and I think on of the best phases I've been through to this day.

Do it. I know what you mean because chains on the pants are pretty sweet, lol. Don't ever let race be a hindrance for anything you want to do; that's a downfall of the human race.

You can be anything you want to be. but don't do it because other people are. But be careful it may upset your parents lol. I have four kids and if they did that, i wouldn't give them a hard time with it, i guess i would look at it as if their just going through a phase. Problem it this may be a problem when you try to get a job. If you are thinking of getting a job working with customers. Make sure it's something you want to do, and not something you want to do just because your friends are doing it. Thats never something you should do.

Hon, you can be whatever you want to be and don't let anyone tell you different. Be what you are comfortable with. My daughter is also into Goth, where we live people are very religious, so old people think she's a satanist, so she ignores them, how can she be a Catholic satanist???????? Just go for it.

i think goth can be great on you also. it's all in what u want to wear. i'm pretty sure the goth community wouldn't get offended by you dressing goth. have fun with it

You do what ever you want to, DO NOT supress yourself if that's what you like then do it , if you aren't free to be happy, aren't you wasting your life? Make it cool for all the young black girls who might be afraid to do what they really like. And forget these fools who say you won't be taken seriously, and if your gonna wear it has to be an attitude we don't like posers. I own my own business and everyone takes me seriously because I respect myself.
