For one to forgive, this has to come from the heart and shouldn't be cursory. We should always try to forgive others no matter how hurt one may be coz noone is perfect, we all make mistakes.
You may find it difficult to forgive someone who has murdered your loving relative or partner or a partner who has jilted or hit you or even cheated on you.Human nature always seeks for revenge, but spiritually we need to release all the toxic anger within us and try and force a smile that whatever fate has handed to us may be a test to see how calm we may be when faced with adversity.Yes, you need to be angry but do not let your anger get the better of you. Allow your sanity to prevail, only then can you forgive.Remember, to every action there is a reaction and in most cases our reaction is always disastrous and is usually carried out on the spur of the moment. If we could only pause for a moment, then our universe would indeed be beautiful.

Do you mean How DO people forgive each other - I don't believe a lot of us do. I definately hold a grudge and I think if you were honest most of you would have to admit that you hold a grudge as well.
Forgiveness is all well and good for the little things - 'Sorry I was late home honey', but definately not for the bigger ones like ' sorry I spelt with your best mate honey'. But hey that's only my opinion and maybe the world is more forgiving than I realise. who knows??

I beleieve with time people can learn to forgive eachother. Sometimes we need to understand a situation fully in order to forgive. Sometimes we have to be brave and let go.

To forgive someone you have to learn to put the situation away for good, no throwing it back up in the future. Be sincere.

You try and understand the reasons why the person has done what they have done. Ask yourself 'what would I have done in that situation?'
If you can at least understand someones reasons even if you don't agree with them, you will in time learn to forgive them.

If you have love filled in your heart for the other you will forgive others.
One who loves all forgives anyone.
It all depends on whether you love others or not.

Depends what they've done but usually put it or try and put it to the back of your head and carry on as though it didn't happen. Or similar...

They just say sorry and mean it , or they let actions speak louder than their words.
