The Punisher, no one knows if he's a superhero or a villain, just like batman he is a ordinary guy he has no super powers, out to seek revenge on what happened to his family, and to bring justice to those who had been wronged. not only that he has some cool weapons and a awesome battle van.

I have many favorites though my favorite is probably the Flash. i like the whole line, the story, history, the powers, and they've all been my favorites since birth. My favorite speedster, Bart Allen, which is currently taking over the flash position, I believe has much potential. Reading infinite Crisis and teen Titans I was afraid he was lost. imagine my happiness when finding him in Flash #1!. If you are as interested in the flash as me, feel free to e-mail and we can be geek buddies. that goes for anyone who reads this.
Along my comic loving life time i have also loved, respected and envied many other heroes. I remember gambit being my favorite for a long time. i mean, things explode when he throws them. And his whole bad-*** attitude is off the chain. the guy rocks.
I went through a nigh-crawler phase for a few years and I'm still loyal. i don't know if you guys remember X-men evolution, but as I watched that, I grew appreciation for all of the x-men featured.
i highly respect Batman. His outlook on life and in-depth thinking makes him a great character. the way everyone in the DCU respect him is outstanding as well. if you can get a guy with heat vision, arctic breath, speed, and super strength to not only respect you, but fear you at the same time, then thats power.
Superboy was another favorite of mine before he passed away. He was an interesting character from the biggining and I enjoyed watching him grow. A moment of silence please : (.
i respect Robin as he is becoming more and more like his mentor but yet keeping the balence of kidlyness, ( I just now made up that word). His comics are excellent reading as well.
I don't want to go on too much here so i'll just list my other favorites. Ghost Rider, martian Manhunter, Ion, beast boy, Iron man, green Arrow, Dare devil, And all of the young avengers.

Spiderman.
I can most relate to him when I think about it. Most do not understand what he does, and if they do...they do not agree with it. Life has been rough on him financially and emotionally, but it never stops him from doing the right thing; which can make him look like he's undependable and unaccountable in the world. But when Peter Parker becomes Spiderman, and helps out mankind...everyone cheers. There is also a darkness about Spiderman, as we will see in Spiderman 3, that I can relate to. Even as a Christian, I battle darkness all the time. I battle my own inner demons and sin all the time. To win in life, one must choose to always do the right thing though the rest of the world may not agree or understand; even in our darkest moments. Spiderman tells a story of my life no one else can in this world; despite how much I tell others about it. The only other person who can tell the story of my life, is God; but that is heavenly.

I think my favourite superhero is Nightcrawler, ala The Uncanny X-Men, because he has always been one of the strange-looking heroic mutants who, unlike Jean Grey and Ice Man and the normal looking folks, has had to cope with persecution and never really had a chance for a secret identity or a normal life, and this made him a lot more of an interesting character to follow.

Batman is one of the few superheros that does not have superpowers. He made the decision to help save people and despite not having powers is still able to. I mean if you were born with superpowers it is almost like a requirement that you either become a superhero or villain.

my favourite superhero is wolverine from the x-men and i always liked him, way before hugh jackman portrayed him in the x-men trilogy films. he is tough and although he looks rugged, this guy is a total bad ***! what i like about him in particular is he has these steel, adamantium claws that are indestructable and so therefore, they can't break. he also recovers very quickly, due to his extraordinary healing powers that he has and plus, like all wolves can sense his enemies from a couple of feet away. his yellow outfit in the X-men is great too, although he looks just as hard in his regular clothes too.

Rogue from Xmen, I just love the fact that she can fly, has the strength of about 50 men and can drain energy from anyone.
But what I hate is she isn't able to touch a person without draining them. She won't be able to share kisses, hugs, have that physical touch unless there are barriers between her and that person. That's the only part that sucks about her abilities.

Anne Marie D'ntanco, aka the one and only Rogue!
I love Rogue because she's a role model. She's strong, smart, fearless, kind, and sexy. Rogue had a really difficult past and is stuck with a curse, yet she soldiers on despite her personal adversities. We should all take a lesson from Rogue.
Long live Anne Marie!
