im gonna join this one band, and they said they are looking for a pop-pock/rock/indie genre type person, can someone give me any band that are this same genre, so i can get an idea of what kind of vocals?

For Female vocalist I would go with bands like Evanesence, Alanis Morrisette, this new band called Flyleaf....
Something with a bit of an edge to it, but still earthy.
