Ok so back in the day i was goth. I was skinny and cute, not white face goth, but i was goth. Now after having my kid, im a little heavy. I want to go back to my punk rock goth look, cos thats who i am, but i'm not sure if it looks the same on bigger girls. I want to be me, but I don't want to look stupid..if that makes sense. help!

It sounds like you're a goth at heart, so feel free to express that. Some of these people who are responding seem to have something against goths, overweight people or both, so just ignore them. The gothic community is open to people of all shapes and sizes, and they don't judge. If you will feel more like yourself if you go back to wearing goth clothes, by all means do it. Plus, it will teach your child that stereotypes are faulty, which will make them a better, kinder person.

I think that my Yahoo 360 profile explains it all. I have plenty of friends on there that are also plus size goths. Goth is not trashy or scarey! Do what you want, who cares what anyone else thinks of you. I am a plus sized goth and I am proud of it. I was even married on Halloween. So go for it girl!

Don't go goth! You are way too pretty. Plus you don't want to scare your kids! :-) But to answer your question, I don't think there is a difference between skinny and not-so-skinny goth girls. I see both all the time. Do what feels right.

Check out this store named Torrid. They have the best plus sized clothing I have ever seen. I often wish I could fit their clothes. They have a lot of cute sexy-goth styles as well.

Be as Goth as you want. there was some notion that "goth" expression was skinny and waif like, probably promulgated by the skinny and waif like. Goth people were big. Were loose gauzy black clothes, talismanic pendants, for shock value study up on the occult, be mysterious and be your own scary self.

Well, they can but, I think what you're really asking is if they should. In that case, no. They definitely should NOT "go goth". Especially if they have a child. Don't do it unless you want people to think of you as trash.

U have to wear nothing tit fit i saw on TV the other day this girl was wearing a black full slip very lacy at the elm and a black sport jacket over top and medium hell that was very sexy i tel you.P.S.she Had another slip under that full slip probably half a slip because u no that some are very see true so you have to be car full.

Carry youself with pride and continue being yourself. That is.. chat, laugh (or not) and continue to just be...I have seen what I call Goth Hippos in clubs down the Gold Coast and In Brisbane. They sip drinks and are to insecure to get up and be themselves. (or maybe that is themselves, in that case those bitches are just boring!!) Goth doesn't have a weight limit. Just be sure you are a darkling princess and go out on the town!!
