You mean that civilization isn't regressing as we speak/write? I would like to live in a time where people truly lived peacefully with each other and the planet -- a time in which there was no killing or conflict over religious belief, political affiliation, racial group, territorial boundaries, lifestyle choice, gender or age -- I'm sure I've left out stuff!

harder in some ways, easier in others
less confusion, less noise, less pollution
