If the relationship is not working out and there is no love or trust then the best thing is to file for a divorce instead of being unfaithful and living with that as a guilt.

What does this mean? You should never be unfaithful to your partner, NEVER. You have to be together in good and in bad times to face problems together. If you mean that you don't love her then get divorced, it's more fair.
If you fight, you hate or you don't love each other then there is no point in staying together, but you should not cheat. You must not hurt smb just cause you think things are not OK. Try working things out. If there is nothing to be saved from your marriage then get divorced and everyone goes his/her own way.

Good luck

My wife has a muscular disease that causes her extreme pain and she is unable to have sex. She has had this for a long time now. We recently have talked and she allowed me to have sex with a friend for a release. And I may have more opportunities in the future. But the sex is not the main focus of my relationship with my wife.

Does this mean I do not love her and want to leave her. NO. It only made us closer because we understand each others physical needs. Anyone that say I would never cheat, usually has been married less than 5 years.

Relationships are not black and white. There is a whole lot of gray in there that the only way you get through it is by communicating.

Well, If my relationship had gotten to the point where I was thinking about being unfaithful, I would end it. What is the point of staying in a relationship that is no longer working? I feel it is less hurtful to end a bad relationship than to stay when your heart is no longer in it.

I would leave before I was unfaithful. At least that way I could live with myself knowing I was loyal to my husband. And my husband knew we split because of our problems, not another man. At least he could have some pride left.

If it ever got to the point that I'd consider being unfaithful, I'd file for divorce. I'd rather get divorced than cheat on my spouse. Even if the relationship isn't working out, it doesn't give you reason to be so disrespectful.

I would just leave them before I would be unfaithful. I mean if it was that bad then you probably don't need to be with them.

I am married for better or worse and no matter how bad it got I would not be unfaithful to my spouse.

What would be the point in cheating? So your spouse would really have a reason to leave. For the life of me, I can not figure out why people do not take care of one problem before starting another.
