It is STRANGE?!?!? That a group of men that like Hooters and porn so much would treat their women so lowly.
The Koran has a verse about being kind to women because they are the mother of all mankind. But I don't think the Islamofascist got to that part yet.
There still on the cutting heads off of infidels part.

It is people like you who are the threat to the world peace, there is no difference between a politician who tells lies to the public and gets their support to carry out mass murders i.e. Hitler, Bush, Blair and you. All you are doing is spreading lies that you probably have picked up from the propaganda media segment i.e. The Sun in the UK and other tabloid newspapers and added your own filth and hate. If you are serious about such issues than look into the issues with a just and unbiased mind and look into the original source of information rather than spreading what others maybe be saying due to their own political agendas.

You underestimate women. In many Muslim countries it is the women who hold the power even tho the men don't realise it!
There have been and still are agitators for women's rights. One died just recently (cancer not murder) in Turkey and was greatly mourned. Where on earth do you get this idea that the men of Islam are given to rape and murder?? A woman out on her own in any Islamic country is safer than in any of the western countries.

Where do you people get your ideas? I am English but live in a Muslim country. I can walk about any time day or night, a woman alone and not be fearful of being attacked, something I certainly wouldn't do in the UK. Islam is basically a peaceful religion, it's just some people who abuse it, Islam gives women many rights. We are supposed to wear the hijab or veil, but we don't have to, no one forces you to if you don't want to, we are not oppressed, we have a say in what we do. Yes our husband expects to be obeyed, but then so do many non Muslim husbands,but they also care for us.

If all women is Islamic counties stood up for equal rights the political and social complexion of the Middle East would change DRAMATICALLY.Unfortunately,most women there are too afraid to even consider such a thing,altough more women are trying.

Stand up for the women's rights, but don't be narrow-minded in throwing more mud around but not proposing solutions.
All through history, the various faiths (including the Church) and probably all other civilisations go through the same cycle of persecution or deprivation of rights against minorites, women, people of different faiths, etc.
It is the failing of man. The motivations and reasoning may differ but ultimately it is due to power abuse and the need to control fellow men.

Probably all of them. Then they would come to the US looking for good Muslim women.
Some how they lost there rites and a lot of those places practice women's circumcision which is barbaric. That is so their women can get no pleasure out of sex. Nothing is said in the UN about that.

Do you think the U.N. would give a ****.....The U.N. is corrupt....with thousands of people being killed every year around the world...and the U.N. doesn't step in and stop it ...what makes you think the U.N. will step in when some Muslim nutcase....starts rapping and killing their own women.....after all too a Muslim man a woman is just property...

i doubt that they really want that many "rights" they dont have, and why should we care anyway? What we see as oppression may not seem the same to them. maybe the burkha and veil is a cultural fashion statement, who really wants to vote anyway, if i could have my wife or someone chauffer me around i would, i wouldnt work either. We should really stay out of their religious views on marraige, at least till we get ourselves straighted out on what marraige really is defined as. etx tex etc
