I was a stay at home mom as well...and I wouldn't have had it any other way either. Mind you I had my own little business on the side, but I made my own hours. I would not have missed my boys growing up for the world! I saw their first step, heard their first words..., and I was able to have the time to guide and give them what they needed. I am not saying that one of the parents should stay home with their children. It is a matter of choice and if your able to stay home. Everything has its pros and cons. Some parents want to have a career or they have to work. I was lucky that financially I could choose to stay home with my boys. Today my eldest son is in college and it's my youngest last year of high school. Since I have more time today I have the time to get things together with my business. Once a mother, always a mother. They have been and are my miracles and the joys of my life!

Yes, I stay at home with my kids. They are almost 6 and my youngest is 3. I went back to work in between kids, and for a little while after my youngest was born. I have been home for over a year this last time. I am currently getting ready to attend school part-time. Although I love being home with my kids, I don't want to stay home after they are both in school. I feel that I need to be doing something. It drives me nuts to be home all the time. I love my kids, but I'm ready to get back to work. It gives me a sense of accomplishment to come home and look at my kids after a long day of work and know I can not only have my family, but a career too.

I've been at home for almost 4 yrs. Yeah I can't stand it sometimes, it really does seem like I cater to everyones needs and noone does to mine. I don't get anytime away from my children(4 1/2, 2 1/2 and 2 wks) as for my husband works all the time to support us, and as soon as he gets home he goes to sleep. All I'd want is an hour to myself to go shopping or something. But it doesn't happen. But I plan on going back to school after the new year to get me a career so thats when I'll get my time at least 9 hrs a week to go to school part time!! I CAN"T WAIT!

I'm at home with my kids for the summer break. But I work in the evening when my husband is home with them.
I guess that makes us both stay-at-home parents, huh?
