I think some people see New Orleans and the Gulf Coast as Painful places now instead of home. I live on the MS Gulf Coast and never considered leaving. After the storm, some peopple left because of the destruction and the fear of another bad storm but a lot of them have come back now. My life is here, everything I know is here, Im not leaving.

People often pull up their roots and transplant themselves, for various reasons. I am sure there will be a great many former residents of the Gulf Coast and New Orleans who will decide not to return, painful as that decision may be.

For some people roots is the answer. Jobs, family,
way of life and stubborness to name a few. For a few
it's because there is no where else to move to.

THESE PEOPLE SUFFERED SUCH LONG HORRIBLE DAYS AND DEVASTATION ....MANY LIVING IN SO MUCH NEED TO BEGIN WITH....THAT THE SO CALLED TRANSPLANTS ARE SUCH A GOOD THING AND A STARK CONTRAST....THEY PREFER NOT TO RETURN TO REMEMBER THE AWFULNESS.
