What would they debate? Global warming? Ahmadinejad had his harangue on 60 minutes with Mike Wallace. Let him do Nightline if he wants.
There is no purpose to a debate with President Bush.
A debate might be held against 2 opponents who are running for the presidency but Bush cannot serve another term and Ahmadinejad cannot serve in the US because he was born in a foreign country.
When it comes to enrichment of uranium in Iran, there is no debate, either. Iran has signed the nuclear nonproliferation treaty (NPT) and is violating it. What can be said?
Finally, the real power in Iran is Supreme Leader Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Khamenei. Iran is a theocracy.

Actually outgh to be a good show. Bush although ignorant, is a master debater.....hahahaha....and the Iranian President is a master manipulator. I think we should cut the debates and have a good old fashioned boxing match....would anyone pay to see that?

I would love to see it too. It would be funny to see a President with a very high IQ debate the President who has the lowest IQ. ( by the way, Bush as documented fact has the lowest IQ of any of our Presidents: listed in the records in Philly) But Bush has some instincts, he won't even talk to Iran's Pres

i might say No threat without Thor. He and that i disagree or probable disagree on a number of subjects (i'm center-genuine, he's reported he leans in the direction of democratic socialism), yet he's often insightful and honest-minded in his perspectives, and does not drink every person's Kool-help while it includes the info. So, i think of shall we've a solid debate and the two agree or conform to disagree on the top with none call-calling.

Every few years, you hear of an Islamic "President", "Dictator" is more like it, wanting to debate an American President. First off, there is no debating between any countries on Earth, except for that which occurs in the UN. Secondly, the only reason the Iranian "Dictator" want to debate is because he has willing traitors in the American Press.

NO, you cant reason with a drunk, a crazy person, or some tin horn dictator who thinks he is the man. Iran is pushing buttons and if they ever get nukes, the world better watch out cause any terrorist group who swears to attack the " great Satan" (USA) will have portable nukes.
Talking to that man is like trying to reason with the devil himself. You cant win and he isnt going to change his view for religous reasons.

It would be a ratings bonanza but we all know Bush sucks at debating, he lost all 3 to Kerry because he's a moron. Not that the "president" of Iran should have a leg to stand on. Screw that guy. He doesn't look like he belongs in a suit at all, but wrapped up in towels instead.

A debate would be interesting, but I think an ultimate fighting champion match between the two would be more entertaining.
