m 16 n i know slow dancing but the problem is i m not able to match up my moves with my partner he isnt a pro. m no professional i just do it as a hobby and take part in competitions i need to know the best kind of shoes and dresses to wear so neither of us stamps or pulls the other down i have been doing dancing bear foot till now and in jeans so that he can see my feet!plz help me

You and your partner should be taking classes together, Good teacher should be able to point out what mistakes you're making i.e. why you don't match.

You need a pair of dance shoes specifically desogned for your dance style. Good shoes help a lot. It is much better than dancing barefoot or in socks. It is the best if you can find a local store that sells shoes. First pair is hard to buy without tryign it on.

if you have the same partner at even dance competition the u need to practces while you are at home with no shoes then put on some flats then move up to heels just practices

Well you should wear a dress that ends by your knees so he doesn't step on it and try kitten heels (they have short heels). You should also walk in them for a few hours at home every day to wear them in.
