Let yourself go, have a little fun. I would suggest trying something new, maybe something a little out of the ordinary and forbidden.

Are You Punking Me?! Goodness there's LOTS to do.
1. Clean the house (vacum, mop, dust, sweep, dishes, laundry, make the beds)
2. Prepare a menu for the week (dinner & lunch)
3. Run your errands (grocery shopping, go to the bank, go the post office)
4. Re- decorate & clean the bathrooms (shower curtain, rugs, and soap holders, etc)
5. Bake a treat for your family (cake, cookies, pie, whatever ya'll like)
6. Have a friend over for brunch & tea
7. Re-arrange the livingroom furniture
8. Take your pets to the park
9. PAMPER YOURSELF
10. Start dinner about 1 hour before your family starts arriving home.
11. Balance your checkbooks
12. Send out greeting cards to friends/family
Truly, there's plenty to do that I didn't even list! If you can't find anything to do at your house get a part time job or do some volunteer work.
Blessings To You & Yours

Well you could do anything you wanted to do - keep a spotless house, make gourmet dinners, etc. My suggestion is get a part-time job doing something at the school or library or go back to school part time while your children are in school. That way you are learning and when your kids leave the house you will have something that no one can take away from you... an education and you teach your children that anyone can keep going.

Clean the house, catch up with friends who are a stay at home Mom, lay in the sun, go to the gym and exercise, get a hobby, sewing some sort of crafts, sit on Yahoo Answers, start a remodeling project. I can think of tons of things you can do just be creative and do something that you like and will keep your interest.

I clean the house, do laundry, go grocery shopping, etc. when my kids are in school. There is always something to be done around here! I have also started selling Avon, which allows me to get out of the house a day or two a week and visit with others.

Well I went to work as I found being at home pretty boring..could do the house work in a few hours...and that is hardly stimulating to the brain. I got a job. Other friends of mine found work they could do from home like typing, etc. Maybe start a new hobby or take up painting or photography or a readers group...take good advantage of that free time to grow ...it's a wonderful feeling when you have time for yourself again. But I remember feeling like you when my son was in school full time...all of a sudden it was like "now what?"...not being content to become a part of the house for the rest of my life like the couch or the sofa - I plowed out a new career - found new interests and re-explored old ones.
Good luck to you!! : -)

besides keeping the house in tiptop shape, you can look for things that interest you that you never had time for when the kids were around. you can have fun and earn money, too.
1. gardening. i love flowers too much, this occupy my time. i have tons of orchids and ornamental plants at home. my sister actually went into small scale cut flower business selling the flowers from our garden.
2. baking. i love cooking and baking and used to experiment on a lot of breads and cookies and cakes. i hit jackpot in one of my bar cookies when my sisters started giving them away as gifts. people started ordering and before i knew it, i had a cookie business. i actually run a culinary school right now.
3. crosstitch. i did this as a therapy years back. i came up with really nice pieces that now hung on family's and friends' walls. great way to give gifts.
4. jewelry making. i learned to do those fun bracelets with a lot of dangling charms. for your personal enjoyment or for gifts.
5. gym. no need to look old while being a mom. stay in shape and surprise hubby or bf with a new you. meet new friends.
lotsa things to do to keep you from being bored. i'd been in that route before and believe me, i hardly had time for myself in the end!

If you've got time to kill why not spend it doing something to better yourself? Improve your fitness and health, review the diet you and your family have, study something, do some kind of volunteer work, think about something you've always wanted to do but never got round to doing for whatever reason and make it happen, think of ways you can surprise your family with something nice, contact someone you haven't spoken to for a while and enquire how they are, catch up on your reading. Ooooooooooooooh, to have time to kill. I'd kill for the chance. B well.
