Yes! There is! :) I've never tried it before, but I came across it in one of my herbal books.
Tooth Twig:
3-4 inch twig cut from a sweet gum or flowering dogwood tree (twig must be "just cut" from the tree).
Peel the twig and chew on the end until it is frayed and soft. It should taste slightly sweet. Now gently rub your teeth and gums. This is a very "old fashioned" way of brushing your teeth, but it's effective. The twig can also be dipped in water and baking soda if you desire.

I don't really know of anything else besides that for brushing your teeth, but I do use baking soda on my tooth brush instead of toothpaste sometimes. I also add a drop of tea tree oil which is very good for keeping your mouth healthy.

Hope this helps...have fun!

You can use a "water pick", or "floss". Chewing gum takes the place of brushing your teeth, too. There is also Oral-B "Brush-ups", that cleans teeth, give you fresh breath and all you do is put the this" brush-up" finger shield on your finger and wipe teeth, gums and tongue. No water or rinsing necessary and it has a moisture shield that keeps your finger dry. After use, just throw the shield away.

You can use your finger or a piece of gauze, with tooth paste of coarse. :)
