Well I 'm not a tall guy but I kind of slim.If u really want to be looks taller and slimmer,here is the tips:try some fittest trousers,jeans.Corduroies can makes u look slimmer.If there is Vertical stripes on ur trousers that will helps u have a slim look.don't wear gray and red or anyother light warm color (except khaki)that will makes u looks fatter.wear some dark color trousers.

That depends where your body fat is. High heels will always make you look slimmer and taller.
IF you are pear shaped boot cut trousers and jeans are really flattering, just dont get them a size bigger than you are because that actually makes you look bigger. Also make sure the back pockets are positioned high up, not in between your bum and thigh and there should be no pockets on the side of the trousers as thats unflattering if you have curvy hips

Being short and round myself, I hear ya. However I find if I wear clothes that are in the same colour pallette, like navys or dark blues, blacks , browns etc it does make you taller and slimmer. Wearing shoes with a higher heel can also make you look taller especially if they match your panyhose or tights.
Don't wear those big belts like cowboy belts that cut you off midwaist. If you saw the normally elegant Candice Bergen at the Emmys on the weekend , she looked horrid in her long blue skirt and white blouse and that honker of a cowboy belt.
A-line, Empire and princess style dresses always slim you down as do tailored clothes.

Cloths? Hm.. I didn't realize they marketed cloths as clothing now a days. But the only cloths I can think of would be dish cloths, wash cloths, or dust cloths. Not sure which makes you look thinnest. As far as CLOTHES go.. try some preppy place like the Gap, Banana Republic, etc. I don't think those places sell cloths though.
