Hey liberal democrat,
With a screen name like that, shouldn't you be more open minded? I think you only want to annoy the NASCAR fans on this site. I myself am a huge fan, and I have many reasons to support my love for the sport such as:
1. Charity work. Many drivers and teams do charity work and give millions each year to various organizations.
2. Fan events. Who cares about fans more than drivers? Their lives revolve around the fans that support them. They care more about fans than any other athelete
3. Normal lives. Most drivers are very normal guys who lead regular lives. They do not play the "I'm rich and better than you" card, which makes them so attractive as good people
4. They don't do steroids like some atheletes do...
5. NASCAR tries to keep a family and kid friendly environment that doesn't tolerate swearing, etc
6. The seasons last almost 12 months! No other sport is televised for that long
7. The sport is thrilling and exciting to watch. You just need to learn the rules to know what's happening.
And finally, only losers like yourself stir trouble by saying untrue and ridiculous things about the sport. You must live a sad and wasteful life to actually have asked this question. Besides, I don't like a sport because of their political backrounds or appearances (like you said with soccer being a communist sport). That simply makes no sense...please elaborate next time. Get a life, idiot!

NASCAR is NOT boring. I have been a race face since I was a little girl. When I went to my class reunion, one of the boys came up to me as asked it I was still into racing. If you know what is happening, NASCAR is fascinating. Obviously, you are ignorant to the sport. And, let me assure you that the drivers at real athletes. Anyone who can drive at 150 mph or more for 400 to 500 miles in temperatures of over 100 degrees without a rest, a bathroom break or a snack has to be in top physical condition. Before you say ugly things about NASCAR, you should do some study. You will find that there is a lot to learn and it is very interesting. I consider the statement that NASCAR is boring as a person insult.
Where do you get the idea that NASCAR fans watch soccer? I have never watched soccer, but if I did, that would be my business and I would not be a communist. Soccer is big in England and England is not a communist county. Get your facts straight.
Some people get involved in golf. To them it is not boring. That's their choice.
My grandmother used to say, "Wouldn't it be a boring world if we all thought alike." You must want a boring world where everyone thinks like you do.

It's a matter of opinion, it isn't a fact that NASCAR sucks. That's just your OPINION. I love NASCAR, that's my opinion. You obviously know nothing about the sport. Maybe you should think before you type....

It is obvious that you haven't really tried. This is America where everybody can have their own interests. We won't downgrade your interests if you just leave us to enjoy our interests.
It is pretty hard to argue against the sheer number of fans that follow the sport. Obviously it cannot be too boring if there are that many fans that visit the race track on a race weekend.
And, by the way, thanks for not following NASCAR. That gives us another open seat.

I hate soccer. Well I did watch the world cup all the time but it really sucks. what can be more fun than just kicking a ball around a field for two hours and the judges showing red cards?

NASCAR is the best SPORT out there have you ever seen 150,000+ people at any other sporting event???? You can spend a whole weekend at a track it is fun for the whole family.
To the chick about horses........
It takes training & conditioning, teamwork & trust between team & driver, has the element of danger, and it downright exciting same thing about racing!!!!

The real question is, why are you so immature and making a fool of yourself? Just by simply being on this board when you don't like NASCAR, and bashing it, is just a way of showing your true maturity level to all of yahoo.
And Slim Hick is right, NASCAR is the biggest spectator sport in the US......and that isn't an opinion, that's fact. So obviously plenty of people like it and do NOT share your view....sorry for ya!!

I can watch both sports 'cause I really love both.
Everyone is free to choose wherever they want, if you don't like NASCAR well that's your decision, & you know what I don't really care
