Lets get the straight, Busch doesn't have nuculear weapons, the US does and the reason is so we can retaliate when the arabs attack us with theirs. Actually a few years ago many of the nuculear warheads were decommissioned but you do bring up a good point. Everyone is suppose to be able to use nuculear power but not to blow up the world.

I disagree with some of the answers above. To me nuclear weapons or WMD are not safe safe in the hands of anybody, whether its America or the Arabs. If they shld be banned that should apply to everybody. America was the 1st country to use them and they still do. WMD come in various forms and various disguises. Do more research in all these American wars, America thrives on WMDs.

The recent statement from a prime middle east country's Military Commander referring to the "annihilation of the US and its compatriots" and "maintaining the hatred of other civilisations by rising up and being counted" should be enough to answer that question. Quite simply the US would never use them, they are a mere deterent. It is likely that certain countrys in the middle east would however use them.

Admittedly no one should have them, but someone has to police the world because country's and religions can't be left to get along and sadly that falls to the US as the country with the biggest gun. Would you prefer the alternative of being policed by country's that use religion as an excuse to go to war?
