Before my child I was a scary 86 pounds. After my baby I was 120. Which I felt very good at . Now I am back down to 94 pounds and I don't want to be that weight. It is not like I am starving my self . I eat like a normal person should eat , sometimes more then my hubby. But for some reason. I can't keep the weight on. I have tried proteine shakes but that don't work either. Maybe it is because I am so busy all the time. Does anyone have any suggestions?

sounds to me like you have a very high metabolism and since you are very busy you're burning off more calaories than you are taking in, which is why you can't keep on the weight. I would talk to your doc and maybe he or she can recommend a nutritionist who can create a diet for you which will be healthy but will give you the calories you need to put on a few more pounds so you feel better. maybe you need a diet of protein and carbs...but try to avoid "empty calories" which are associated with junk foods and sodas.

The healthy way to gain weight is to up your intake of good calories and fat. Eat every two to three hours. Eat healthy snacks like cashews, almonds, cheese, lots of cheese, yougurt, trail mix and veggies with dip. However, keep in mind that your body knows best. And maybe that's your ideal weight. eat whole grains and eat ice cream!!! Just make sure you don't put weight on too fast. Have fun, looks like you can eat all the french fries you want, so take advantage!!!!

This 100% a old wives tale,, but my mom swears it works,, right after you eat, go lay down for at least 20 mi ns,, don't jump up and start dishes or cleaning the table off,, just go lay down.

Also you might want to talk to your dr about this,, there are some health reasons you might not be able to gain weight,, Thyroid problems is one,,

Good luck,, I know that this is a real problem alot of ppl say "ohhh you have it so lucky or stop complaining at least your not fat" but it's just as hard to be too skinny as it is to be too fat.

A healthy body will regulate its own weight. Weighing what you do may just be the weight your body intends to be. Dont stress out.
