It is to be believed that the right side of the brain is geared for artistic development, and the left side is for getting the body to function.
This was determine long ago during the 1800's by psychologist during series of test.

However, this test can actually be performed on yourself just by performing simple noted tasks.

The next time you get a heasdache chek to see how it is affecting you. next time try to draw soemthing if you have a very difficult time then it is the right side of your brain.

"Functions of the left and right sides of the brain

Much of what is known about the functional differences between the left and right sides of the brain has been derived from studies on patients whose corpus callosum has been severed as a treatment for severe epilepsy.

These studies have shown that the left side of the brain controls most analytic functions, speech and language; the right side controls artistic attributes and the ability to recognise patterns (such as how rooms and corridors, houses and streets, and hills and valleys are related in space). The two halves of the brain communicate with each other – nerve messages are sent between the across a thick band of nerve fibres called the corpus callosum.

Other studies have determined that two areas of the left hemisphere of the cerebral cortex govern speech and language. One area is responsible for vocabulary and grammar, while the other governs the physical mechanism of speech."

Here is a website that you can read more about the subject.

The right side is able to concieve of the asthetic, artistic kind of "arrest" that comes in art and beauty appreciation, but you need the left side of the brain to understand the concept of symmetry, which is a mathematical equation that sorts art and vectors images into the brain through the 5 senses...

Michangelo had a system of vectoring a canvass that was nothing short of an elaborate mathematical equation... He never painted without it. But without the ability to experience his work through the senses he would never have been able to know if it was good or right...

You need one to percieve it and or duplicate or create it and another to appreciate and understand it.

"asthetic arrest or true art is appreciated by the right section of the brain and diadiatic art is judged rationally by the left."

You just need both... artistic brains are not all right... it is a myth

The right side.
People use the stress ball on their right hand because the nerves are crossed at the middle of the brain. So that means that the logical side is the left side.

It is the right side, which also controls your left hand. If you are right-handed, try writing or typing with your left hand and notice howw your thoughts change and seem different.
