Anyone know of a good free proxy? is that what i need??

Question

I want to get past the blocks on my school computers and my home computer. seriously, not for porn. grow up.
anyways, i was told that if i set up or get permssion to use someones proxy then i could get passed blocks adn all that would show up in "history" would pe the url of the proxy. Does anyone know of an existing proxy i could use? or how i would set one up? Do you have any better ideas??

Check out places that offer anonymous web surfing. Just do a google search for "anonymous surfing" and you will find lots of places. These places work by loading the page you requested and then sending it to your browser as if you went to that site directly, but the web filters see it coming from the anonymous surfing site.

Be warned though. A lot of web filters are starting to all these anonymous sites to the filter list. Also check to see if using these types of sites to bypass the filters could be a policy violation that could get you in trouble.

well u can find lists of proxies using google but remember ur net connection will become slower because of the fact that ur using a proxy.

you could install logmein on your computer at home (or someone elses computer.... >:) then you'd have access to all the things your home computer has. I use logmein at work to get past their blocking stuff...
