I'm surprised nobody has said Alexander the Great yet.
Conquered the "known" world of the time from Greece to India and united it with a common (if forced) "Hellenistic" culture and "Alexendria's" were built across the empire/civilization to advance learning and scientific achievement. His empire achieved religious tolerance, centralized government, common currency which helped foster trade, etc. and I think he only lived to be @33.

Elvis did not have any impact on world history. princess Dina, JFK, RFK , jesus, miclom x and martin Luther. these are the only people who died young but had a huge impact on world's history.
