If your gut feels Alexander is done, then trade'em on out. The truth is that both are going to be stellar this season, you cant go wrong either way, and there was too much gravey on your chicken fried steak this morning.

Take LT over Shawn Alexander. I only say this b/c LT has been on the top of the game since 2003. Consistency is a factor in all fantasy leagues which most managers dont realize.
Alexander will NOT have the same season as he did last year. LT is a more productive rusher with the ability to also give you reception TD's. If you look at the statistics LT has always been consistent with all other RB's.
Final analysis: Go for LT, make the trade happen!

GET LT!!! Escpecially in a keeper league. Tomlinson has an entire career of probowls ahead of him. Also, the coaching staff in San Diego have finally realized what it takes to win: give the ball to LT. Whether running or passing, and they will put him in the slow WR position sometimes, they are going to force feed him the ball.
While Alexander is is without his All-World guard in Hutchinson. That's the biggest concern. Meanwhile, the Madden Curse is waiting to strike him at any moment this season. I would say,
TRADE HIM ASAP! The madden curse could bite this morning!

So I've heard this question over and over again, first to the people who have anything to say about the Madden curse, shut-up, it's irrelevant.
My opinion is that it's a wash, LT is going to catch the ball more than Alexander, and throw the balls more too( 2 TD passes last year). So if your in a league that gives you points for receptions this is a plus.
Alexander is going to repeat last years performance of running the ball all day to eat time up, and boy did he rack up the yards and scores because of it.
Either way be happy you have one of the stellar RB's this year, and let the season show us what's going to happen

I would keep Alexander. The Seahawks have a balanced offense and very good defense. You get the cheap points when the team is ahead and use Alexander to run out the clock. LT is going to have an inexperienced quarterback, so defenses are going to stack up for the run game.

Keep Shaun. Seattle has the 2nd easiest rushing schedule this year compared to SDs 15th. Defenses also don't have to worry as much about the pass with the Chargers with their rookie QB Phillip Rivers. They will key in on 2 things, LT, and Antonio Gates. Defenses can't do the same with Seattle, they'll have to play honest against a strong running and passing game.

I think Alexander will be better than LT for one reason....Philip Rivers. He is shaky and will look to hand off to LT too much, giving the opposing defense a key target in LT.

Yes, I would. Go with your gut feeling. Alexander is on the cover of Madden this year and as most people know that comes with a curse. Make the deal.

Yes.
Shaun Alexander will NOT have a good year.....the madden cover curse, plus he lost one of his best o-linemen. and LT will have an even greater year than usual....with the ball going his way more often to keep the pressure off of Phillip Rivers.

If you want to... personally I think you'll be fine either way. It's like asking which bar of gold you like better. Having said that, I think LT's a bit younger and there's something to be said for that in a keeper league.
