First, do any other women feel wiser than their years? And everyone, give me your opinion on this: I have a friend who is 21. His girlfriend is 19(for reference I am 26). This girl is the most possessive, brainless idiot I have ever met...she doesn't let this friend of mine go out unless she's with him, and then she complains the whole time. There was a night in particular that this friend was out with my husband at another friend's house for a party, and this chick came to my house in the middle of the night, waking up my three-year-old to scream at her boyfriend because he hadn't called her in an hour, or something to that effect. So, I just want everyone's opinion on why there are chicks like this that make the rest of us look bad, and why I should feel weird, at 26, for having had the brains to not act like that. Thanks all ♥

Wow, you've just single handedly proven that some women rock.
I can't stand girls like the one you've described. Maybe that's why I was always so annoyed at everyone in high school.

First i must say that i have found that as i get older i am more relaxed, not a jelous freak and i think now before i react to something that i don't like.
There is something that you had stated that bothers me you had said that "she dosn't let this friend of yours go out" Your friend is a grown man he is able to make his own choices and its not that she don't let him he allows her to do this. If he really wanted to go out than he would. It is a sad thing that she feels that she must control him in such a way.. I wonder if you have tried talking to this girl and telling her that if she continues to act in such a manner she will loose him all together.
As far as her comming to your home and waking your child I feel as though i would have a few choice words for her and your friend aswell for allowing such a thing to happen...

Sounds to me like she's got some abandonment issues, security issues, anger management issues, damn she just got issues. I have a friend who's girlfriend acts the same way. He actually hides at my house to get away from her. He's tried to break up with her and she calls and stalks and even camps out at his parent's house looking for him. I've even tried to tell her she's giving all us sensible women a bad name with all her crap. But she's been abused and mistreated so I know he feels bad for her and wants to help her get past that. A lot of girls turn out like that when they haven't been treated well. They need counseling.

this is just to say, don't get a 19 year old for a gf. Boo, he needs to get rid of her. big time. and i would tell her to never come to ur home again. or u will call the police. if he is really ur friend, he'll stop it...she needs to grow up along with some respect in her stupied***....u do need to talk to ur friend about this, though, then u will see where u stand in ur friendship. but, her a** has got to go....a.s.a.p.

I guess I am much more mature than before. Society now is helpless. most guys just like a woman's body even if they are complete idiots. Do not do anything to change yourself. Since, you already have a husband, it proves people like you just the way you are.

1st question - yes
2nd question - your friend is not very bright thus perpetuating the the behaviour by not leaving her, therefore her behaviour does not change. She is a very insecure person who likes to be in control.
By acting like her would you have liked to be known as a shrew and be the butt of jokes by other females?
